LPV Grand Design - 1998 Chestnut Gelding
( Saddleback Sirius x Niobrara Lady Trophy )
Athletic and built solidly, LPV Grand Design, is of old Morgan type. "Tony" is described by all who handle him as bright; and totally broke.
"Tony" was born on the plains of Nebraska. He has done everything from rounding up cattle to holding the title of Reserve World Champion Parade Horse (2001) at the tender age of three. He has been a Regional Classic Pleasure Driving Champion; NYSMHS' High Point Western Pleasure Reserve Champion; also placing 3rd in the highly competitive NYSMHS' High Point Hunter Pleasure divison. "Tony" has even participated in the Memorial Day Parade.
LPV Grand Design gives new meaning to the word smart. His pedigree is of high quality and up close. His sire, Saddleback Sirius, was a natural Park horse. Tony's ancestors include such greats as: Trophy, Pecos, Kingston, Mad River Sailor, Saddleback Supreme, and Saddleback Superstar, to name but a few.
"Tony" has very nice gaits; easy to sit, and comfortable to ride. Well trained, "Tony" has first level dressage skills, simple lead changes, leg yields, shoulder in, haunches in, turns on forehand and haunches, etc. He neck reins well, and trail rides. Tony also drives. He is truly an "easy keeper" in true Morgan style.
