2013 and 2014 Show Seasons

As for the 2013 Show Season, we had limited showing this year because of construction and our purchase of 8 horses out of Paradise Morgan's dispersal sale. Creekside Morgans competed at NYS Breeder's Show in May, Syracuse International in June/July, New England Morgan Horse Show in July, NY Regional in September, and the Morgan Grand National and World Championships in October. Our show string for 2013 was Key Sera Sera, JDS Spirit of the Century, Brigantine, Willohaven Timeless, and Compass Rose. Placements were in the Blue for Key Sera Sera. She held her own against some tough competition at NE, earning a top ribbon in the Junior Horse Western Pl. Championship.

JDS Spirit of the Century was shown In Hand and in Pleasure Driving Junior Horse; he brought home tri-colors and blues in both divisions. Brigantine in his one and only showing came home with a Reserve. Willohaven Timeless brought home Blue and top ribbons in his first showing in the Hunter Pl. division.

2014 Show Season prospects: We look forward to the introduction of Brigantine (Centerpiece x UVM Christine) to a full show schedule in 2014. Abilene (UVM Springfield x UVM Christine) is looking to be very competitive in both the Western Dressage/Western Pl/Hunter Pl divisions. JDS Spirit of the Century is preparing for his debut under saddle, will continue showing In-Hand, and may enjoy a few goes in harness, too. This elegant Junior horse has multiple options to WOW his adoring fans! And, then there are a few surprises in store for Creekside watchers, as we will be introducing some new faces to the show ring from our herd.

Of course, the big news for Creekside Morgans in 2014 will be our breeding program. UVM CHRISTINE'S sons will be standing to the public. "The Boys" are in the NYSSA's Stallion Auction. The NYSSA will be held at the Turning Stone Casino on January 29, 2014. Try to attend the Stallion Service Auction at Turning Stone on January 29, 2014 for the gala festivities! YOU'LL HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!!!! It's guaranteed!

Our own Carlyle Mary Rose will be bred to Summitry (Noble Flaire x UVM Christine), as will MEM First Joy for 2015 foalings.

Expect to see some additional foalings with selected pairings from our broodmare band and the extraordinary bloodlines provided through the stallions of Creekside.
